Sister Cities Celebrated at Australian Pavilion
Yesterday the Australian pavilion celebrated the strong people-to-people links between Australia and China with Commissioner-General Lyndall Sachs hosting a dinner in recognition of the 78 sister city relationships we share. The dinner also marks the second China International Friendship Cities Conference which was held in Shanghai from 7-10 September. The conference saw awards going to West Australia, Brisbane, Victoria and New South Wales.

First Chinese- English bilingual guide to Australian art and art galleries launched at Expo
The first Chinese-English bilingual guide to Australian art and art galleries will be launched at a gala dinner in the Australian Pavilion at Shanghai World Expo on 28 August. Australian art luminaries, Shanghai art scene and cultural figures and dozens of high-end art collectors will attend the lavish function to celebrate the production of the visually stunning coffee table style book, A Guide to Australian Art and Galleries.
